Once a thief comes into contact with the gel, it transfers onto his or her hands and clothing. The criminal is then irrefutably linked to the crime scene.
The gel is almost impossible to remove, it contains both a UV tracer and the unique DNA code.
It can be applied to paper currency without detection and transfer to the hands of whoever touches the money.
